REMINDER: 2025-26 Student Rental Requests

Good Afternoon PNBS Families!

As auditions near, we want to remind our families that you can rent a studio from either location to record a video or take pictures for an upcoming audition. With the breaks fast approaching, space for rentals will start to become limited at both locations. During winter break this year, we will able to accommodate rental requests on the days the buildings are open. Please find these specific dates below:

Winter Break Dates for Rental Requests:

Please do not wait until the last minute to rent a studio as space cannot be guaranteed.

Attached in this post is our Updated Student Rental Request Form for the 2025-2026 year. This form will need to be filled out in advance and emailed to the school for approval. We cannot accommodate walk in requests. Students are allowed one parent to come in for the rental. Please provide two dates on the form with the times available for your student to come in.

If you need a faculty member for your rental, please note this on the email when you send in the request. Not all rentals can guarantee a faculty member to be present. If you need a faculty member, this will be a $100 per hour charge not included in the base rental price. If you are renting with others, all students must fill out the rental form first and email the school for approval. Only 1 student will have to pay for the rental. There is a max of 2 students per rental. Rentals start at $45 an hour with a 90-minute max per session. Photographs start at $25 for 30 minutes.

Click here for the rental form: Student Rental Request Form 2025-26

Please email the school if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Level IV Conference Typo!

Afternoon Level IV Families!

There was a typo on the earlier post about Level IV Conferences! The 2nd day of conferences for FRC Level IVB will take place on Thursday December 18th not the 17th. This means that classes for FRC IV on 12/18 will still take place and this will not affect any PC IV classes. All Level IV classes for the scheduled conference dates on 12/15 & 12/17 are canceled. Below you will find the changes highlighted:

Bellevue Level IV conferences will take place on Monday December 15th from 4:00pm-7:00pm and a 2nd group for IVB on Thursday December 18th from 4:00pm-4:45pm

Classes on December 18th will not be cancelled. Students signing up for this conference day are expected to still attend their class but are permitted to arrive late if their conference time conflicts with class time.

PC & FRC Level IV Fall Conference Sign-Up!

Afternoon Seattle & Bellevue Level IV Families,

We are delighted to have you back this fall! Individual student/parent conferencing for our Level IV students are coming up this month.

This year we are introducing a new conference format! Conferences will replace Level IV classes on your students respective conference date, and will take place over Zoom in 15 minute time blocks. This means that the day your students conferences are scheduled, their regular classes will be cancelled that day.

Seattle Level IV conferences will take place on Wednesday December 17th from 4:00pm-6:45pm

Bellevue Level IV conferences will take place on Monday December 15th from 4:00pm-7:00pm and a 2nd group for IVB on Thursday December 17th from 4:00pm-4:45pm

Classes on December 17th will not be cancelled. Students signing up for this conference day are expected to still attend their class but are permitted to arrive late if their conference time conflicts with class time.

As always, the student conferences will include discussions about your progress and mastering technique and artistry. Prior to conferences, your teachers work collectively to communicate their individual observations and corrections for each student. Conferences provide a platform to discuss not only what you are working on in class in the way of technique, but also your plans for the future and how we can help guide you successfully into the next chapter in your life. Parents and students please come prepared with questions and let us know how we can help make this a successful year for you.

Below click on the location your student attends and you will find the sign-up sheet for conferences:

A second reminder will go out the week of your student’s conference that will include the Zoom links and Faculty attending the conference.

Hello Upper Division Families,

We are very pleased to announce a new offering for our Wellness program: one-on-one counseling with PNB’s consulting therapist Josh Spell available at no cost! As a part of PNBs ongoing commitment to helping develop healthy dancers, we are so excited for our students to have this opportunity to help address challenges in their lives, dance related or not.

How it works: Josh will have a few dates where he is available throughout the year for in-person meetings in the school library. The first of these dates is tomorrow Wednesday, November 19th from 4:00-6:00pm. He will have four 30 minutes slots available during this time, available first come first served to all of our Upper Division and Professional Division students.

sign up by emailing Josh: jspell@pnb.org

If you are not able to attend the in-person sessions tomorrow or all of the slots are taken, you are invited to contact Josh to set up a virtual 30 minute appointment. Josh will be providing virtual office hours each month to PNB students at no cost!

Please note: Josh will not be diagnosing or providing psychotherapy to treat long term disorders. Up to three one on one sessions are covered by PNB for each student, if more therapy is required, referrals for other clinicians can be provided by Josh.
