Level II Final Week Schedule June 8-13

Hello Level II Families,

We hope you are looking forward to our School Performances on Saturday June 13th!

REMINDER: Participation in all rehearsals is MANDATORY IN ORDER TO PERFORM on Saturday, June 13th

Please note arrival times carefully, your student may need to be excused from school during this week to attend their mandatory rehearsals. Please reach out to us if you need a note for your dancer’s school to have them excused. There are no regularly scheduled classes for Level II during the final week.

Action Required! Advanced C Petite Finale Performance Invitation and Agreement

Our School leadership team is so impressed with the Advanced C class piece for Strike Up the Band that they would like to add the dance to our upcoming Petite Finale shows if the dancers are available!

Each spring our Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes perform in Petite Finale, an in-studio performance that offers our youngest students the opportunity to show the progress they have made learning dance this year! As part of the performance experience for these dancers and their families, we invite some of our upper level classes to perform.

Saturday, May 2nd Phelps Center in Seattle – 4 shows total, Advanced C Saturday classes will take place as regularly scheduled

Saturday, May 16th Francia Russell Center in Bellevue – 3 shows total, estimated arrival time: 10:30am (subject to change)

TICKETS: Each student will receive two complimentary tickets for family members to attend one performance. Additional tickets may be available for purchase depending on capacity.

Reminder! Please return borrowed tights!

HI PNB School Families,

We are reaching out to remind you to please wash and return any and all tights, leotards, and other uniform supplies that have been borrowed from PNBS!

We are very happy to keep a stock of uniforms on hand at all times, but we rely on your help getting items that have been borrowed back to maintain our supply! We are running particularly low on tights, if you would please check your dancer’s supply to see if there are any tights labeled PNBS that would be a big help to us.

Additionally, if you have any spare tights that are gently used (no holes, runs, or stains) we are always accepting donations to our collection

REMINDER! Quarter 4 Starts Next Week!

Good morning PNBS families!

This is a friendly reminder that Quarter 4 starts on Monday, April 6th! If you registered with a Quarterly payment plan, your card will be charged automatically on Monday.

*Some accounts have already been charged for Quarter 4, we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. If you were charged on April 1st for Quarter 4, you will not be charged again on April 6th. If you are withdrawing from the school, please notify us ASAP and we will refund this charge.

Please let us know by this Saturday, April 4th if you are choosing to withdraw and would like to be removed from autopay. Any withdrawals who have paid in full or are on the Biannual payment plan will be refunded. Please note we do not issue mid-quarter refunds. As a reminder, here are the quarter dates for the 2025-2026 school year:

Quarter 1 September 8-November 8

Quarter 2 November 10-January 31

Quarter 3 February 2-April 4

Quarter 4 April 6-June 13

Advance C Spring Conference Sign-Up

Afternoon Advance C families,

Individual student/parent conferencing for our Adv. C students will take place on Wednesday, April 29th.

Conferences will replace Adv. C classes on 4/29, and will take place over Zoom in 15 minute time blocks. This means that on 4/29 your students regularly scheduled classes will be cancelled that day.

As always, the student conferences will include discussions about your progress and mastering technique and artistry. Prior to conferences, your teachers work collectively to communicate their individual observations and corrections for each student. Conferences provide a platform to discuss not only what you are working on in class in the way of technique, but also your plans for the future and how we can help guide you successfully into the next chapter in your life. Parents and students please come prepared with questions and let us know how we can help make this a successful year for you.

Level VIII & Adv. C Class with Mr. Boal – Next Monday, April 6th

Good afternoon Level VIII & Advanced C students and families,

We are excited to inform you that next week on Monday April 6th, PNB Artistic Director Peter Boal will be teaching combined Level VIII & Advanced C Technique class from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Level VIII dancers should wear their pointe shoes for the entirety of class unless they have a medical note that advises otherwise.

Mr. Boal is very excited to teach the dancers and is looking forward to this special class, please let us know if you have any questions!
