BELLEVUE Level III A Conferences Reminder & Zoom Links

Hi Bellevue Level III A families,

The conferences for Bellevue Level III A start next week! The zoom links can be found HERE on the sign up sheet. On some of the conference dates there will be multiple meetings happening the same day, this has been notated by a group number. Please pay attention to which group and which date you are when clicking on the zoom link. Also note that the sign-up sheet has been updated to include Faculty/Staff attending each conference.

Pointe Shoes Needed for ESDW Summer!

Hello PNBS Families!

As we near the end of our school year, we are collecting old pointe shoes for our Eastside Summer Dance Workshop where our students will use them for a craft activity. If your student has any old pointe shoes they would like to donate, there will be boxes posted at both locations for the next few weeks.

Seattle Level III A & B Conference Sign-Up

Hello, Seattle Level III families! 

It is time to sign-up for your student-teacher conference!

To state again from our earlier message, each year in the spring, we hold student conferences for Level III families via Zoom.  Conferences are an important time to discuss progress from the past year and set goals.  

In preparation for conferences, the Level III faculty work collectively to communicate their observations and corrections for each student. Conferences address effort, attendance, understanding of ballet concepts, and technical and physical development. Conferences last approximately 20 minutes and involve the student, parent(s) or guardian, and two representatives of the School, including the student’s teacher and the School Principal, School Supervisor, or Managing Director.   

Students are expected to take notes during their conference to use as a reference. Parents/guardians should discuss these evaluations with their child to ensure a shared understanding of the student’s progress.

Class placement for the 2025-2026 year will be discussed. Please note: advancement from one level to the next is not automatic. It is not uncommon for students to spend two to three years in a level as they progress through the school.

Conferences will be scheduled via Zoom to accommodate working parents and allow for better scheduling. Click the sign-up link below with your student’s class and find a time that works best for your family. Your student must be available to attend. If you have any scheduling concerns or changes, please email pnbschool@pnb.org, and Erin Rolseth, from our School Admin team, will reach out to you.

Cancelled Wellness Meeting This Week

Hello Adv C families,

Our speaker for Wednesday’s (4/26) wellness seminar is unfortunately out sick. For this reason we are cancelling the meeting that was originally planned to begin at 4:30pm for the Adv C students. This has been reflected on the Master Schedule for seminars.

We do plan to hold this meeting at a later date hopefully in April and will keep you updated.

Due to teacher availability we are cancelling the VIII Conditioning class today from 2:45pm-3:45pm.

The seminar scheduled with Monica Van Winkle will unfortunately have to be cancelled. Monica is sick and doesn’t want to spread what she has to the students.

Apologies for the late notice. We are looking at rescheduling, or having Monica come during one of Josh Spell’s talks at a later date.
