SEATTLE Crosswalk Safety on Mercer St.

Hello Seattle families,

This is a very important reminder to use safety precautions when navigating Mercer St. in front of the Phelps Center. If you are dropping your student off, please drop them off on the PNB side of Mercer St. to avoid using the crosswalk. If you need to use the crosswalk, please be very cautious and aware when crossing at the intersection of Mercer and 3rd Ave, especially in the dark. We encourage you to use the sky bridge that crosses above Mercer St. to avoid crossing such a high traffic area on foot. You can access the sky bridge from the ground floor of the Mercer St. Parking Garage/ next to McCaw Hall.
