Hello Bellevue Families,

Thank you again for your patience as we’ve been adjusting to
the recent road closures with the continuing Sound Transit construction at the
Francia Russell Center.  Next  week, we will begin experiencing some
additional changes to our parking lot as the construction crews prepare to
extend our existing parking lot.  Unfortunately, we were only just
notified of this new phase of construction early this morning, so we have had
to make some last minute changes to our plans for next week’s Watch Days.

Beginning Monday, October 7th,  Sound
Transit will be moving their fencing further into our parking lot and taking
away more of our parking spaces closest to our building in order to grade the
area and re-pave some additional parking for us. The grading and re-paving is
scheduled to be completed by Saturday, October 12th (weather
permitting). We have not yet been given a completion date of the additional
parking but have a soft estimate of ‘before Thanksgiving’.

Due to this new Sound Transit update we will be postponing
the scheduled Watch Days between Monday, October 7th and Saturday,
October 12th. We did try to negotiate a change in date of this
construction and were unsuccessful. We recognize that this is extremely
disappointing and inconvenient. Once some of our current parking has been
restored we will reschedule the postponed watch days. We apologize greatly and
do appreciate your understanding with this schedule change.

These changes will be significant and inconvenient in the
short term, but they are a necessary evil we must go through in order to have
more parking options for our families and clients created.

We are meeting with Sound Transit early next week and do plan
on sharing any information and updates we receive with all of you. The school
staff at the Francia Russell Center will be working diligently to provide
assistance in the parking lot and insure safety for our families entering the
building. The school staff will try to assist you in any way they can, however,
they do not have any control over the Sound Transit construction. We ask that
you contact our Sound Transit representative, Elizabeth Guevara, with any
concerns, complaints or questions about the construction occurring in our
parking lot as we will continue to do the same.

Thank you once again for your loyalty to the Pacific
Northwest Ballet School and for your patience and flexibility.
