Conference Sign Up!

Conferences for students and parents/guardians are approaching. Formal conferences are held each year for students beginning in Level III to discuss progress and goals. CLICK HERE to sign up for a conference time by Tuesday, March 28th.

Prior to conferences, your teachers work collectively to communicate their individual observations and corrections for each student. Conferences address effort, attendance, technical development, strengths and weaknesses, conduct, and potential, and will include suggestions for improvement and goal setting. Conferences last approximately 20 minutes and involve the student, parent(s) or guardian, and two representatives of the School, including the student’s teacher and the School Principal, School Supervisor, or Managing Director. Please make sure your student is available to attend!

Students are expected to take notes in their class journal during the conference to use as a reference during the school year. It is important parents/guardians discuss these reports and evaluations with their child to ensure there is a shared understanding of the student’s progress.

Class placement for the following year will also be discussed during the conference. Please note: advancement from one class level to the next is not automatic. It is not uncommon for students to spend two to three years in a level.

Conferences will remain on Zoom to accommodate working parents and allow for better scheduling. Please bring your questions!

We look forward to seeing you at your conference. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email.
