Intermediate C Fall Conference Reminder & Zoom Links

Hello Intermediate C families,

Your student conferences are this Thursday, January 15th.

Intermediate C classes will be cancelled on Thursday January 15th! Conferences will replace your students regularly scheduled class on this day.

A second reminder will be sent out on the 15th.

Week of 1.12.26 Wellness Office Hours With Josh Spell

Hello Upper Division Families,

This week on January 14th we have a few slots available for Office Hours counseling with PNB’s consulting therapist, Josh Spell, available at no cost! As a part of PNBs ongoing commitment to helping develop healthy dancers, we are so excited for our students to have this opportunity to help address challenges in their lives, dance related or not.

These are first come first serve. If you are not able to attend the in-person sessions or all of the slots are taken, you are invited to contact Josh to set up a virtual 30 minute appointment. Josh will be providing virtual office hours each month to PNB students at no cost!

SIGN-UP:

Please note: Josh will not be diagnosing or providing psychotherapy to treat long term disorders. Up to three one on one sessions are covered by PNB for each student, if more therapy is required, referrals for other clinicians can be provided by Josh.

Students may be excused from class in order to meet with Josh if needed.

Reminder: PC & FRC Level VI Mentorship Week of 1.12.26

This is a notice that there is a Mentorship Seminar for Level VI with Emerson Boll & Sofia Bidne scheduled this Saturday, Jan 17th from 10:30am-11:30am in the Phelps Center Library and from 10:00am-11:00am in the Peter Boal Studio at the FRC with Leah Terada and Melissa Guilliams. These seminars are mandatory, and are part of PNB’s commitment to promoting healthy emotional development for our students! Roll will be taken at each meeting for attendance. VII Mentorship Meeting Date Change

This is a notice that there is a Mentorship Seminar for Level VII with Kali Kleiman & Noah Martzall scheduled this Saturday, Jan 10th from 10:00am-11:00am in the Second Floor Gallery Room. Due to some conflicting schedules this change has been made and approved by our Mentorship team. This will replace the original January Mentorship meeting that was planned for January 17th. These seminars are mandatory, and are part of PNB’s commitment to promoting healthy emotional development for our students! We do however understand that this is a bit of a last minute change, so if you are unable to attend we completely understand. Roll will be taken at each meeting for attendance. If you are unable to attend for any reason please contact us through the school inbox at pnbschool@pnb.org.

Reminder! PNB Access Badges / Student Buttons

Happy New Year PNB Families!

As we start up classes again next week, we just wanted to send a friendly reminder about parent and student badges! Please remember to continue the following;

Have Your Parent/Guardian Badge Ready When Entering the Building!

This can be saved on your phone in your photo app or printed out – as some of you have already done! If you are a new parent or haven’t received the badge, please email us at pnbschool@pnb.org and we can send you the link.

Students Keep Your Orange Button on Your Bag!

Having trouble keeping it on your bag? No worries! Just have it on you in some capacity, whether that means in a pocket, wallet, or pouch, we just need you to have it on you to show the guard/camera at the door. If you misplace your button, please let the school office for a replacement.

Sign In at the Front Desk and Get a Parent Sticker!

If you are planning on staying for the duration of your student’s class or have to go past the stanchions for any reason, please make sure you’re signing in and getting a Parent/Guardian sticker up at the front desk. Please note; parents are still only allowed to wait in the front lobby or school office, parents are not permitted to wait or work in the student lounge or back hallways, these areas are for STUDENTS ONLY. Parents can access the bathrooms and changing rooms, but will be asked to move if they are lingering in the hallways outside studios, or in the student lounge.

Save the Date! Strike Up the Band Fundraiser & Performance

Save the date! 

We are absolutely thrilled to invite the Level IV, V, VI, Intermediate C and Advanced C students to perform in PNB School’s Inaugural Fundraiser Strike Up the Band on Saturday, April 25th at the Francia Russell Center. This exciting night will feature a silent auction, original choreography for the classes to the rousing and inspiring music of John Philip Sousa, light appetizers, fellowship, and fun!  

All rehearsals will take place during regularly scheduled class times except for the dress rehearsal on the day of the performance (see below). There is no student participation cost. Students may be asked to wear their PNB logo leotard for the performance. PNB will provide additional costuming at no cost. 

Tickets will be available soon (more info to come) at $25 each and will directly support the fundraiser. We are looking forward to celebrating Pacific Northwest Ballet School with all of you on Saturday, April 25th. 

Strike Up the Band Fundraiser & Performance Information: 

Date: Saturday, April 25th, 2026 

Location: Francia Russell Center, Bellevue 

2:30-3:00 Warm Up, All Levels (IV, V, VI, Intermediate C, Advanced C) 

3:00-5:30 Rehearsal and Dinner Break (students should bring snacks and a light dinner) 

5:30 Doors open 

6:15 Performance 1 (All levels) 

7:00 Performance 2 (All levels) 

8:00 Event Ends
