Please Keep Track of Your Sewing Needles!

Hello PNB Students,

This is a friendly reminder to please keep track of your sewing needles after you use them in the studio spaces on your pointe shoes! Several times we have had sewing needles either almost being stepped on or found in the studios.

All students should have a sewing kit that they can safely keep their sewing supplies in incase it is needed at anytime during or in between classes. Once you are done using your sewing needle, please make sure it makes it back into your sewing kit for everyone’s safety.

Thank you so much!

PGA Holiday Fundraising Campaign!

Happy New Year PNB! Each year, special memories are made at PNB School events like Petite Finale and Teen Night. The PGA is behind the organization of these events that have such a positive impact on the students and their families. We want to continue bringing these opportunities to our PNB School community in the new year and need your support.

We hope you’ll take advantage of the $5,000 match and consider a donation to the PGA before midnight December 31st! The students in the class with the greatest number of donors will get an ice cream party and a day to wear dancewear of their choice. PGA Holiday Fundraising Campaign!

Hello PNB family!

My name is Carly Buwalda, and my daughter Allison is a level VI student. As we were driving home from PNB the other day, she was reflecting on how PNB School was like her second home. She sees her classmates as lifelong friends, the teachers as supportive and caring mentors, and the whole school as partners on her amazing dance journey. One of her favorite things about being an upper level student is being a teacher assistant to a younger class on Saturdays. The opportunity to foster a love of dance for a younger generation of dancers has been enriching for her.

My involvement with the PNB Parent Guardian Association has given me a window into her world, and a way to give back to a community that has given our family so much.  This is such a special chapter in our lives, and we are grateful for her time here at PNB. Your generous support allows the PGA to continue to provide amazing programs that support our whole community.

Think of us when you plan your year-end giving, and our students will reap the reward! We have a generous $5,000 match for donations made to the PGA until the end of December with an additional reward of a free dress day and ice cream party for the class that brings in the greatest number of donations.

Thank you so much and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

PGA Holiday Fundraising Campaign!

Dear parents and guardians of PNB School,

Happy Holidays! As President of the PNB School Parent Guardian Association (PGA), I am constantly reminded of the profound impact PNB and PNB School have on the lives of PNBS Students. Please read on for a very special holiday offer from our PGA.

I am the very proud parent of a level VII dancer, Chloe. Being a student at PNB has not only helped her become a beautiful dancer but has also provided a place for her to develop lifelong friendships and valuable life skills, like the ability to focus and manage her time — which has helped her immensely as she navigates her first year of high school! No matter what level your student is in, I’m sure you all echo my sentiment of the important part PNB School plays in the life of your PNBS Student.

The PGA plays a vital role in ensuring that opportunities continue to be accessible and meaningful for all our dancers and their families while building community at PNB School. The PGA hosts a number of community events at the School, including Petite Finale, Teen Night, the PNBS Open House, and Trunk or Treat. The fantastic group of parents that makes up the PGA are committed to bringing as many opportunities as possible to PNBS families; however, we can only do it with your help!

Members of the PGA have offered a generous match of $5,000 for gifts made to the PGA through the end of 2024. Any excess PGA funds at the end of the school year in June will be donated to PNB School. To encourage participation, the class with the highest number of donors will win one class where the students can wear dancewear of their choosing and have an ice cream party sponsored by the PGA.

Please join me in supporting our incredible ballet school and the next generation of dancers by making a gift during this holiday season to the PGA!

Wishing you all a meaningful Nutcracker season!
