We hope you have had a wonderful summer break! As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience at PNB, we’ve created a short survey to gather your feedback on how our spaces are currently being used.

Your input is incredibly important and will help us make informed decisions when planning for the future of our facilities.

PNBS Annual Leotard Exchange 2025!!

Hello PNB families and happy summer!

We’re excited to announce the annual Leotard Exchange is happening during the PNB School’s Fall Open House on Saturday, September 6!

This is a wonderful opportunity to donate gently used PNBS leotards your dancer has outgrown and get a PNBS leotard for the season ahead. Even if you don’t have one to donate, you are still welcome to pick up a new-to-you leotard. We will have a variety of already-donated leotard levels and sizes on hand (*note: we can’t guarantee that everyone will receive a leotard due to the limited sizes and levels that are donated). Availability will be first-come, first-served. You are still able to drop off your donated leotard at either school location or you can bring it with you to the Leotard Exchange!

If your student wears our male identifying uniform, we are also taking those as well! (White snug fitting t-shirt & black tights/leggings.)

Donating Leotards? We kindly ask that all donated leotards be laundered (no fabric softener) before drop-off.

Thank you for helping us build a supportive and sustainable dance community. We look forward to seeing you at the Open House!

Lauri-Michelle joins Ms. Marisa Albee (Principal) and Ms. Deborah Kenner (Assistant Principal) to form our new school leadership team! Dance For All Class Assistants Needed!!

Dear Level III Families,

We hope you are enjoying our glorious PNW summer! Dance for All invites your Level III student to become a class assistant for Dance for All. This season, Dance for All offers two levels of inclusive creative dance classes for students of all abilities, ages 6–11, centered in supporting diverse physical, learning, sensory, and developmental needs.

Fall Session Details

  • Location: Francia Russell Center
  • Saturdays, 9:00–10:00 am
  • Dates: October 4–December 13 (no class 11/29)
  • Orientation: Saturday, 9/27, 9:00–9:45 am

Spring Session Details

  • Location: Francia Russell Center
  • Saturdays, 9:00–10:00 am
  • Dates: January 10–April 11 (no class 2/21)

Class assistants take on the role of peer dancer—fully participating in class, supporting fellow dancers, and helping foster leadership, empathy, friendship, and appreciation of differences. We ask a commitment of 6 classes over the course of Fall and Spring Sessions.

Dance for All classes celebrate joyful movement, live music, imagination, teamwork, friendship, and community. You can view these short video compilations from our 2024–25 classes:  Video 1 | Video 2, and watch Seattle Channel’s Dance for All story to learn more about the program’s impact.

To apply to become a class assistant, please email DanceforAll@pnb.org. You can also stop by the Dance for All table at PNBS’ Open House on September 6 to learn more—we’d love to see you there!

Emeralds evokes French elegance, Rubies brings the glamor and jazz of America, and Diamonds recalls the grandeur of Balanchine’s native St. Petersburg.

RED ANGELS – LITTLE MORTAL JUMP – FIREBIRD

Firebird is back after a 20-year hiatus! Ming Cho Lee’s breathtaking sets, the epic Stravinsky score, and choreography from PNB Founding Artistic Director Kent Stowell work in harmony in this theatrical one-act ballet. Balanced perfectly by Alejandro Cerrudo’s most playful work, Little mortal jump, and the rock ‘n roll drama of Ulysses Dove’s Red Angels, this fiery production will keep you on your toes from start to finish.

Ticket vouchers will be distributed in class a few weeks prior to each Rep. Students will be able to choose from a selection of performance dates and times determined by PNB.
