Tots End Of Year Observation Days!!
Hello Tots Families,
We are thrilled to invite you to observe your student in class this final week of the year!
Please find your student’s designated observation class day and time and review the observation day protocols below.
- Only two guests per student will be permitted to observe the class.
- No children under the age of 5 are permitted to observe the class.
- Guests will be escorted into the building as a group at the start of class and will be asked to exit the building as soon as class is over.

UPDATED: 2025 School Performance Rehearsal & Warm-up Schedule
Hello PNB School Families,
Participation in dress rehearsal is MANDATORY IN ORDER TO PERFORM on Saturday, June 14th.
School Performance is quickly approaching! Below please find the UPDATED schedule information regarding your students dress rehearsals/ warm-up classes and performance check in times.
12:30pm Performance: Levels I, II, III, IV & Men’s Dance – dancers must check in at the McCaw Hall stage door at 11:30am.
6:00pm Performance: Levels V, VI, VII, VIII – dancers must check in at the McCaw Hall stage door at 5:00pm.

Level I School Performance Handbook 2025
Dear Level I Families,
The 2025 School Performance is just around the corner, and we hope you are just as excited as we are to see our PNB students in Level I on stage at McCaw Hall on Saturday, June 14 at 12:30pm!
We understand this milestone event will be a first for our level I students, so we have created a special School Performance Handbook for you. This handbook contains important final rehearsal and performance information, including rehearsal dates; drop-off and pick-up times for rehearsals and performance; ticket information; what to wear; what to bring to the theater; and where to pick up students after the performance.
Please be sure to review this handbook with your student and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
School Performance tickets are now on sale at the PNB Box office in front of the Phelps Center. Box office hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm. You may also order tickets online.
We look forward to seeing your student onstage at the performance!

PNB’s annual choreographic workshop, NEXT STEP, concludes in a performance at McCaw Hall on June 13! NEXT STEP provides opportunity, infrastructure, and support to grow tomorrow’s choreographic talent while providing a unique performance opportunity for PNB School’s Professional Division dancers. This year, Professional Division students will perform original work from company dancers Jonathan Batista, Amanda Morgan, Sam Portillo, Lily Wills, and the co-choreographer team of Kyle Davis/Sarah-Gabrielle Ryan. Join us to witness an exciting step in these emerging artists’ creative journeys!

Celebrate our PNB School students this June at the 44th Annual School Performance! Dancers Level I and up will perform works by PNB School Faculty members; Professional Division students will perform a new work by PNB Company dancer Noah Martzall, and George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments. Music for The Four Temperaments will be played by Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Juan Felipe Molano.

Saturday, June 14 at 3:00PM at the Phelps Center
Join us after the 12:30 performance for the PNB School Celebration, honoring the successes of Pacific Northwest Ballet School students. The 2025 School Celebration will take place at 3:00PM on Saturday, June 14 at the Phelps Center. Graduating Level VIII, Advanced C, and Professional Division students and their families are invited to join. Graduating students receive free admission, additional tickets for family are available for purchase. Advanced reservations required.

This is an invitation to a showing of work by New Voices II choreographers. The New Voices II students are very excited to share their amazing work with you! They have been hard at work creating group works and further testing their knowledge and skills in the craft of dance making. I’m sure you will be amazed to witness how their talents have grown! The students will also be presenting an excerpt from Alejandro Cerrudo’s Little Mortal Jump (taught and coached by PNB Company dancer Leah Terada) as well as a modern piece I created as an end of year work. This work includes the Advanced C students as well. Please join us!
