The Phelps Center and Francia Russell Center will be closed for winter break from Monday December 23rd through Saturday January 4th. There will be no classes during that time. Classes will resume on Monday January 6th. Staff will continue to monitor your phone calls and emails during the break.

Happy Holidays! As President of the PNB School Parent Guardian Association (PGA), I am constantly reminded of the profound impact PNB and PNB School have on the lives of PNBS Students. Please read on for a very special holiday offer from our PGA.
I am the very proud parent of a level VII dancer, Chloe. Being a student at PNB has not only helped her become a beautiful dancer but has also provided a place for her to develop lifelong friendships and valuable life skills, like the ability to focus and manage her time — which has helped her immensely as she navigates her first year of high school! No matter what level your student is in, I’m sure you all echo my sentiment of the important part PNB School plays in the life of your PNBS Student.
The PGA plays a vital role in ensuring that opportunities continue to be accessible and meaningful for all our dancers and their families while building community at PNB School. The PGA hosts a number of community events at the School, including Petite Finale, Teen Night, the PNBS Open House, and Trunk or Treat. The fantastic group of parents that makes up the PGA are committed to bringing as many opportunities as possible to PNBS families; however, we can only do it with your help!
Members of the PGA have offered a generous match of $5,000 for gifts made to the PGA through the end of 2024. Any excess PGA funds at the end of the school year in June will be donated to PNB School. To encourage participation, the class with the highest number of donors will win one class where the students can wear dancewear of their choosing and have an ice cream party sponsored by the PGA.
Please join me in supporting our incredible ballet school and the next generation of dancers by making a gift during this holiday season to the PGA!

Hello Seattle families,
This is a very important reminder to use safety precautions when navigating Mercer St. in front of the Phelps Center. If you are dropping your student off, please drop them off on the PNB side of Mercer St. to avoid using the crosswalk. If you need to use the crosswalk, please be very cautious and aware when crossing at the intersection of Mercer and 3rd Ave, especially in the dark. We encourage you to use the sky bridge that crosses above Mercer St. to avoid crossing such a high traffic area on foot. You can access the sky bridge from the ground floor of the Mercer St. Parking Garage/ next to McCaw Hall.
We want all our PNBS families and students to be as safe as possible!

Dear PNB School Families,
The I.D.E.A. committee is hosting a winter food drive to benefit the Ballard Food Bank. They invite you to participate in their efforts to feed and support our local community!
We are collecting donations at both Seattle and Bellevue locations now through the end of The Nutcracker, ending on December 28th.
Below you can find a list of items to donate. We appreciate any donations you can provide!

Hello Seattle Level V’s,
This evening, Monday Nov 25th, your technique class will be combined with the Level VI’s. This means technique class will be pushed back 15 minutes and will be from 6:00-7:30pm.

Both the Phelps Center and the Francia Russell Center will be closed, and regular classes will not be held from Thursday, November 28th through Saturday, November 30th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
If your student will be missing class at all next week, please notify the school office.

Hello Eastside families,
We are aware that last night the Bellevue School District said it would be closed today Friday November 22nd. Power has been restored at the FRC and we would still like to hold classes. All classes at the Francia Russell Center will be held as normal today, Friday November 22nd, 2024. We will continue to monitor building safety throughout the day.
All classes at the Seattle Phelps Center will also continue to be held as normal.
