Happy New Year, everyone! I am excited to tell you of two very important events happening this month:
- New Voices I will be presenting their original work in an informal showing. First year students will show solo work based on the classwork we have been studying since September. Second year students will show duet work they have been collaborating on for the past few months. We hope you will join us for a presentation and brief discussion.
New Voices I Showing
Wednesday, January 24 at 6:30pm
Location: Studio C
This performance will last approximately one hour.
- New Voices is going to the theater! All New Voices students will be attending Compañía Nacional de Danza, the national dance company of Spain. This performance supports our classwork in relation to gaining a broader understanding of choreography, performance, and process. The company will be presenting work by Nacho Duato, Paul Lightfoot/Sol Leon, and Joaquín de Luz. Tickets have been generously supplied by PNB’s Education Committee.
